Tamil can carry the explanation itself. You do not need to use English as the main language merely to make a student project look professional.
Angela Steffi's own account of Madras Samayal distinguishes her Tamil cooking channel from her English channel, Classic Masala Hut. The choice gives us a useful editorial example: the same area of expertise can be addressed to different audiences without pretending those audiences speak identically.
There are other forms of Tamil creative work too. The News Minute's 2021 profile of Village Cooking Channel describes a family team's cooking videos rooted in its village setting. These examples establish real work in Tamil; they do not predict the audience or earnings of your new account.
Try a two-version explanation
Choose a task you actually know: organising a lab-project folder, preparing a club notice or explaining how you track a shared assignment.
Record one short version in the language you naturally use for the task. Record another with the language you think you are “supposed” to use. This is your exercise; neither version needs to be published.
Ask a friend from your intended audience to follow the instructions. Mark:
- the first instruction they understood without help;
- the point where they asked what a term meant;
- any phrase you kept restarting because it felt unnatural;
- where a label or translation would make the task clearer.
Choose using those notes. Accent imitation is not part of the test.
Translate the useful bit
You might speak Tamil and retain the English name of a software menu. You might explain a familiar Tamil term briefly for someone who has not encountered it. Decide for the reader, not for an imaginary language hierarchy.

Keep the original recording. After finishing your next project, listen again and note whether you now explain the difficult step more clearly.
