Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains cancellations, refunds, wallet penalties, and future subscription billing for the Hustl platform in India. It supplements our Terms of Service.

Hustl is in public beta and no payment gateway is connected. During the beta, Hustl issues verified Partners free beta credits to fund and post shifts, and does not collect payment from Partners for posting a shift. Nothing in this policy means money is taken from a Partner today. Where this policy describes a charge, a price or a refund to a payment method, that describes how the policy will operate if and when paid billing is introduced, and we will disclose the price and terms before you are charged.

2. Partner job funding and refunds

  • Partners fund shifts before or upon publication as shown in-app. During the public beta this funding is drawn from the free beta credits Hustl has issued to the Partner.
  • If a shift is cancelled by Hustl or the Partner before any Hustler checks in, the eligible funded amount is returned to the Partner's in-app balance. Beta credits are returned as beta credits; they have no cash value and are not paid out as money.
  • Platform fees already incurred may be non-refundable where disclosed at the time of funding.
  • Partial completion (some Hustlers checked in) may result in a partial charge against the funded amount based on completed work.
  • If paid billing is introduced later and a Partner has paid real money, eligible refunds will be returned to the Partner's in-app balance or to the original payment method, and we will set out here how that is done before any Partner is charged.

3. Hustler cancellations

  • Hustlers may cancel confirmed bookings subject to in-app rules.
  • Cancellation within 3 hours of scheduled start may incur a late cancellation fee debited from the Hustler wallet (amount shown in-app and system configuration).
  • Repeated late cancellations may affect eligibility for future jobs and rank.
  • Valid emergencies may be reviewed through support with evidence; fees may be waived at Hustl's discretion.

4. No-shows

If a Hustler does not check in within the grace period after shift start without an approved cancellation, the booking may be marked no-show. A no-show fee may be applied to the Hustler wallet. Partners may receive compensation or credit per platform rules.

5. Hustler payouts (not refunds)

Hustlers earn wages through completed shifts. Shift earnings are credited to your in-app Hustl wallet when the shift is checked out, and may sit in a pending state before they are released for payout. After you complete a shift and submit your shift rating, the Hustl team releases your earnings to the UPI ID linked on your profile, so you need a UPI ID saved before you can be paid. The payment gateway is not integrated yet, so each release is made manually by a person at Hustl rather than by an automated payment provider. In current operation a release is usually made in under 2 minutes, typically within 2 to 5 minutes, and no more than 10 minutes after your rating is submitted; that describes how we operate today and is not a guaranteed settlement time. A payout is a transfer of wages you have earned, not a "refund." Incorrect payout amounts should be reported within 7 days via support@hustl.today. Reporting after that window does not remove any right you have under Indian law.

6. Disputes affecting payment

When a dispute is open, related payouts may be held until resolution. Evidence may include check-in and check-out records, location data where your device supplied it, any Partner or admin attendance override, photos, and chat logs as described in our Terms.

7. Failed or insufficient funding

If a Partner does not have enough beta credits to fund a shift, the shift may not publish. No payment gateway collects money from Partners during the public beta, so a Partner is not charged for a failed publication attempt. If paid billing is introduced later and a payment attempt fails, the job may not publish and Partners will not be charged for unsuccessful attempts, except where bank charges apply from your own financial institution.

8. Future Partner subscriptions

When subscription plans launch, we will disclose before purchase:

  • Price including GST where applicable
  • Billing frequency (monthly/annual)
  • Auto-renewal and how to cancel
  • Refund eligibility for unused periods (if any)
  • Free trial terms and conversion to paid plans

Cancellation stops future charges; access may continue until the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated.

9. Consumer grievances

For payment-related complaints, contact support@hustl.today or grievance@hustl.today. You may also use the National Consumer Helpline or appropriate consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
